Steve Severance started his journey in the construction industry framing track homes for Built More Construction in the summer of 1990. He quickly moved his way up to assistant foreman and operated some of the job site equipment. From there he moved on to framing custom homes for various builders. In 1995 he received his General Building "B" Contractors License from the State of California. Next, he worked as a subcontractor on a large residential remodel working with a true craftsman named Ed "Fast Eddy" Forseth. Ed showed Steve the difference between being a framer and being a craftsman. Steve continues to use the knowledge and “old school” attention to detail that Ed passed on to him. Steve spent several years with Nelson-Dye Remodeling as an employee then later on as a subcontractor. In 2008, Steve completed a beautiful 4800 sq. ft. spec home but when the housing market took a turn for the worse, he moved into the telecommunications industry. He began as a construction manager then moved to project manager overseeing approximately ten million dollars in modification projects per year for the big cell carriers. Now, after 11 long years in telecom, Steve has decided to go off on his own and do what he truly loves; building projects for people who want to improve their living spaces.
